La Bête Noire in Paris is a cozy Port-Royal café that feels like a local secret, with a friendly buzz and genuinely kind service that makes you want to come back. The menu stays simple with things like granola bowls, avocado toast, and rice pudding, perfect for a slow morning. It gets busy, so popping in early helps if you want a seat. A chill spot to enjoy good coffee, good bites, and good vibes in Paris.

Excellent service, very accommodating and attentive. The place is very cute with a homey feeling. The grill cheese was delicious, and their coffee was the best one we had in Paris. Very tasty dessert as well

La Bête Noire is a wonderful little café/restaurant in front of Port Royal. I have only been for café and pastries (twice), so I can only comment on that. Great quality coffee. They have some massive fresh scones that are very nice as well. There is a selection of freshly baked cakes and other pattisseries. I really like it. Customer service is prime. The staff members always explain everything in detail and are super nice; always a good conversation. The environment is nice. It’s calm. They have temporary art exhibitions from upcoming artists on their walls (for sale), which is interesting. 100% recommended !!

Amazing little gem. The owner Maria is a gracious lady who explained the menu. Typically there are 2 menus everyday. A vegetarian and a meat dish to choose from. Saw Maria herself prepare the dish for me. This restaurant is an undiscovered gem but well known with the locals in the area. Would visit again in a heartbeat

Stopped by to have a brunch and definitely left satisfied and happy. The ambiance was very cute, homie, and with a french vibe. The food was good, maybe a bit too heavy for brunch, but flavorful, and well executed. They also have some cinnamon rolls which look and taste amazingly. I suggest this place for brunch or even dinner, but don’t expect many light options, but you can definitely expect a pleasant experience and a friendly staff.

Lovely little corner cafe tucked away in a small alleyway. Went for a small breakfast. Eggs were boiled in perfection, simple cakes and breads were not too sweet. The scone was slightly too dry and hard but an easy going atmosphere. I loved the rough rustic interior. Also dog friendly.

It's a small cozy cafe with a unique design that serves breakfast and lunch using homemade artisan goods and high quality ingredients. the owner and workers are really friendly and the services are great. Whether you're omnivore or vegetarian the food is available with choices. (Breakfast) Personally I recommend the "Special Fried Eggs with bacon jam" it's a simple breakfast with a couple toast and eggs but the jam is what enhances the dish.
